RAK EATS Festival

In line with government directives to support and develop small and medium enterprises and enhance the business environment, and after the remarkable success achieved by “RAK EATS Festival” in its previous edition, RAK SME is preparing to launch the fifth edition of the festival, coinciding with the nation’s celebration of its second fifty-year National Day, from 01/12/2023 to 31/12/2023. The festival will feature the participation of 46 distinctive national projects in the  food and beverage sector , from members of  the  foundation who have made their mark in Ras Al Khaimah market. It will offer various types of food and beverages from local , Arabic , and  international cuisines.

One of  the highlights of  the 2023 edition is the festival participants’ commitment to sustain ability standards , as emphasized  by  the  wise  government  directives  in preparation  for the next fifty  years ,  recognizing  the importance  of   joining   efforts   to  preserve  the environment and natural resources and to fulfil our responsibility towards future generations.

This year, the festival will proudly celebrate nature and the enchanting location of the “Waterfront Promenade at Manar Mall,” where most of the stalls will be adorned with green colours. Participants will use recyclable utensils , and recycling  containers  will  be  placed throughout the festival  area .  Various  age  groups  will  be  educated  about  the  importance of  environmental  preservation  through awareness workshops on sustain ability  concepts and  environmental  conservation  standards . In addition , composting  bins  will  be provided , with volunteers collecting food and beverage  leftovers to convert them into soil-friendly compost , thus reducing waste  and harmful gas emissions. This is in addition to many other events that will be held in this context.

As “Manar Mall” gave a significant boost to the festival in its previous edition, it is ready to host the festival again this year through its enchanting waterfront setting, making its events more accessible to the residents and visitors of Ras Al Khaimah. It is worth mentioning that the RAK SME, an initiative of RAK Chamber of Commerce & Industry, has organized several seasons  of  “RAK EATS Festival. ” Over 47 youth national projects have participated ,  and  the number of visitors  has  exceeded  353,000 from  various  nationalities  and  age groups, making it one of the leading tourist  destinations in Ras  Al Khaimah . The foundation  is  expected to  launch  it  for  the  second consecutive year at “Manar Mall,” the most prominent commercial, tourist, and entertainment destination in the emirate.
