The International Day of Islamic Art takes place on November 18th every year, as proclaimed by the UNESCO General Conference in 2019.
The purpose of this ‘Islamic Arts Week’ is to encourage the appreciation of Islamic art, and celebrate the contribution to cultural diversity and cultural heritage of the unique artistic expressions of Islam through the power of art.
The week-long event will be a cultural exchange and sharing of art between local artists and the public. We have organized for artists to display their artworks and also prepared family-friendly art workshops which include geometric shape painting, mosaic art, tote bag painting, candle painting, watercolor Islamic bookmarks, and more.
