THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT Trilogy in Ras Al Khaimah begins on 16 November 2022 with HUMAN METAMORPHOSIS, an ode to the transformative power of connecting changemakers to build a sustainable future.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and presented in partnership with the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) — the trilogy is set to bring a new dimension to curating and hosting a journey that will build momentum over the course of the next three years. The first chapter, HUMAN METAMORPHOSIS, will be held on 16-17 November 2022 and will offer an authentic expression of global citizenship catalyzed by the evolution of humanity, generation after generation.
Driven by a cyclical timeline to mirror nature’s cadence, HUMAN METAMORPHOSIS is embodied by present, future, and primordial concepts that explore the pillars of human mobility and migration, global governance, cultural barriers and opportunities, technology, and sustainability.
Last year’s Annual Summit brought together over 400 honourable guests from 38 countries including actress, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and GCF Awardee, Eva Longoria, President of Colombia, H.E. Iván Duque Márquez, Vice President of Liberia, H.E. Jewel Taylor, former Prime Minister of Italy, Matteo Renzi, Grammy-nominated singer and performer, Nicole Scherzinger, international DJ and producer, Afrojack, and former FBI hostage negotiator and Masterclass coach, Chris Voss.
