Vespa, named after the Italian brand of scooter manufactured by Piaggio, is Al Marjan Islands’ most sought-after Italian restaurant with alfresco, indoor seating, and impressive views over the Gulf of Arabia. Located on the coral-shaped island, the shoreline first-floor restaurant overlooks the resort, with pretty gardens and swimming pools. It’s a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon in the sunshine or escape the balmy temperatures in the cooled indoor restaurant.
Celebrate Sundays with a bottomless lunch of scrummy pizza and a couple of glasses of bubbles. Soak up the chilled-out atmosphere and eat until your heart is content with endless favourite toppings. After having your fill of pizza, wander around the resort’s extensive grounds and savour a sundowner cocktail or two before heading back to your room or home.
